Play the game as much as you like. Don't copy it, sell it or take it apart. The Premium Pack is a single payment, not a subscription, and refunds go through Apple or Google rather than us. We've tried hard to get the answers right but we can't promise every one of 1,738 cards is perfect. Florida law applies.
1This agreement
These Terms of Use are an agreement between you and Sheffer Global LLC, a Florida limited liability company ("we", "us", "our"), covering the Are You Clueless? mobile application and the website at RUClueless.com (together, "the game").
By downloading, installing or playing the game you accept these terms. If you don't accept them, please don't use the game. If you are under 18, a parent or guardian must read and accept these terms on your behalf — see section 8.
2Your licence to use the game
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to download and play the game on devices you own or control, for your own private and household entertainment.
Playing at home, at a party, on holiday or with friends is exactly what the game is for. Using it as part of a commercial event — a paid quiz night, a bar tournament, a broadcast or a paid workshop — needs our written permission first. Ask us; we're reasonable.
3What you may not do
- Copy, reproduce, publish or distribute the clue cards, bonus questions, artwork, text or any other part of the game.
- Sell, rent, sub-licence, lease or otherwise transfer the game or your licence to it.
- Reverse engineer, decompile or disassemble the app, or attempt to extract its source code or card database, except where that right cannot lawfully be restricted.
- Modify the app, or circumvent, disable or interfere with any part of it — including any mechanism that determines whether the Premium Pack has been purchased.
- Remove or obscure any copyright, trademark or other proprietary notice.
- Use the game in any way that breaks the law, or that infringes anybody else's rights.
4Free version and Premium Pack
The game is free to download and includes 1,000 clue cards, the full board and every rule.
The Premium Pack is an optional in-app purchase costing US$3.99, or the local equivalent set by the relevant app store. It unlocks the remaining clue cards — 1,738 in total — along with all six subjects and the bonus questions.
It is a one-time purchase, not a subscription. There is no recurring charge, no renewal and no expiry. Prices may change for new purchasers; a purchase you have already made is not affected. All purchases are processed by Apple or Google through their in-app purchase systems, and are subject to their terms as well as these.
The purchase is tied to the app store account that made it, and can be restored on your other devices using the same account, subject to the store's own rules.
5Refunds
Because Apple and Google handle payment, they also handle refunds. We cannot issue one directly. Refund requests go through Apple or Google Play and are decided under their policies. This does not affect any statutory rights you have that cannot be excluded by agreement.
6Ownership
The game and everything in it — the name Are You Clueless?, the RUClueless.com domain, the game design and rules, all 1,738 clue cards, all 420 bonus questions, the board, the illustrations, the logo and every piece of text and artwork — are owned by Sheffer Global LLC and are protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws.

7Accuracy of the questions
The clue cards and bonus questions have been researched and checked with care, but the game contains thousands of facts and no set of thousands of facts is perfect. Some answers are matters of interpretation, some depend on how a question is read, and a few will simply be wrong. The game is for entertainment; please don't rely on it for anything that matters, and please don't settle a real argument with it.
If you find a mistake, tell us — we'd rather know, and we fix them in updates.
8Children and parents
The game is made for families and includes a Kids library written for ages 8 and up. If you are under 18, you may use the game only with the involvement of a parent or guardian, and that parent or guardian accepts these terms on your behalf and is responsible for your use of the game.
Parents: the game collects nothing, has no chat and no social features, and contains no advertising. The only purchase in it is the single Premium Pack, which sits behind your device's own purchase controls. Our Privacy Policy sets out the detail.
9Availability and changes
We may update the game — adding cards, fixing mistakes, improving how it works — and we may change or discontinue any part of it. We may also update these terms; if we make a material change we will post the new version here and update the date at the top. Continuing to use the game after that means you accept the change.
The game runs offline and does not depend on our servers, so it will keep working on a device where it's installed even if we stop distributing it.
10No warranty
The game is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the game will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of every mistake in its content.
Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties, so parts of this section may not apply to you.
11Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Sheffer Global LLC will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits or goodwill, arising out of your use of the game.
Our total liability to you for any claim relating to the game is limited to the amount you actually paid us for it — which, for most players, is nothing, and at most is the price of the Premium Pack.
Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited.
12Termination
You may end this agreement at any time by deleting the game from your devices. We may suspend or end your licence if you materially breach these terms. Sections 6, 7, 10, 11 and 13 survive the end of this agreement.
13Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute arising out of them will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Florida, and you and we each consent to the jurisdiction of those courts. If any provision of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest remains in force.
These terms, together with the Privacy Policy, are the entire agreement between us about the game.
