1Who we are

Are You Clueless? is made and published by Sheffer Global LLC, a limited liability company registered in the State of Florida, United States ("we", "us", "our"). This policy covers the Are You Clueless? mobile application on iOS and Android, and the website at RUClueless.com.

2Information we collect

None. We do not collect, store, process or transmit any personal information about you or anyone who plays the game. In particular, and to be completely specific about it:

• There is no account to create and no sign-in. We never ask for a name, email address, phone number, date of birth or password.
• We use no analytics of any kind — no first-party analytics, no Google Analytics, no Firebase, no crash-reporting service, no attribution or install-tracking SDK.
• We show no advertising and include no advertising SDK.
• We do not collect device identifiers — no IDFA, no Android Advertising ID, no IMEI, IMSI, MAC address, serial number or any other persistent identifier.
• We do not collect location data, contacts, photos, camera or microphone data, or anything from the rest of your phone.
• The app contains no chat, no messaging, no user profiles and no social features, so there is nothing for players to share with each other or with the outside world.
• We do not use cookies or tracking technologies on RUClueless.com.

All 1,738 clue cards and 420 bonus questions are stored inside the app when you download it. The game does not need an internet connection to run, and it does not make network requests during play.

3What stays on your device

The app saves a small amount of information locally on your phone so that a game works. This information never leaves the device, is never sent to us, and cannot be seen by us or by anyone else:

• The player names and animal pieces you type in at the start of a game.
• The current game state — whose turn it is, where each player is on the board, which hidden squares have been used.
• Your settings, and a flag recording whether the Premium Pack has been unlocked.

Deleting the app from your device deletes all of it. There is no copy anywhere else.

4Purchases

The app is free to download. The optional Premium Pack is a single one-time purchase — not a subscription — processed entirely by Apple on iOS and by Google on Android through their own in-app purchase systems.

We never see or handle your payment details. Your card number, billing address and purchase history are held by Apple or Google under their own privacy policies, not ours. We receive only anonymous, aggregated sales totals from the stores, which contain no information identifying any individual purchaser.

5Children's privacy

Are You Clueless? is made to be played by families, and it includes a Kids library written for ages 8 and up. We take children's privacy seriously, and the simplest protection we can offer is the one we have chosen: the app collects nothing from anybody, including children.

Specifically, in line with the U.S. Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA), the UK and EU GDPR, and the children's requirements of the Apple App Store and Google Play:

• We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 — or from anyone of any age.
• We do not collect or transmit persistent identifiers from any user.
• We include no third-party analytics and no third-party advertising.
• We do not enable children to communicate with other users or to publish anything publicly.
• We do not condition participation in any part of the game on a child disclosing more information than is reasonably necessary — which, here, is none at all.

Because we hold no information about any child, there is nothing for a parent to request access to, correct or delete. If you have questions about this, please write to us at the address in section 10 and we will answer.

6Third parties

We do not share, sell, rent or trade information with anyone, because we do not have any to share. The only third parties involved in Are You Clueless? at all are Apple and Google, who distribute the app and process purchases as described in section 4, and our website host, which serves RUClueless.com.

7Your rights

Privacy laws including the GDPR and the California Consumer Privacy Act give you rights to access, correct, delete and port your personal information, and to object to its processing. We support all of them — but in practice there is nothing to act on, because we hold no personal information about you.

The data on your own device is entirely under your control: deleting the app removes it. If you would like written confirmation that we hold nothing about you, ask us and we will provide it.

8Security

The strongest security measure available is not to collect data in the first place, and that is the one we rely on. Information that is never transmitted cannot be intercepted, and information we never store cannot be breached.

9Changes to this policy

If we ever change how the app works in a way that affects this policy — for example, if a future version needed a network feature — we will update this page and change the date at the top before that version is released. Material changes will also be noted in the app's release notes. We will never begin collecting personal information from an existing version of the app without saying so here first.
